Sat was £30 well spent. The icing was when we thumped Vasco Da Gama's children..Portugal. Never before have I seen liquor flow (literally...the entire seating area was soaked with pombe). Kenyan's indeed...we took the best seats in the house (east stand) prime viewing area which I later understood was going for $45. As preps for the tesdoctornial gathered mbio, some gorilla with a lisp (security guard) tried to eject jamaas and the legendary mouth and chest thunmping ya wakenya came to the fore. Needless to say SA won the 7s tournament on the pitch but Kenyan Cheerleaders won on the terraces.

Rugby was really good. Made it for the first match to watch Argentina wallop us 38-0.......we nearly beat SA but eventually the boys did something that they have not doene in the UK since the tournament started. They won a match....beat Portugal. Day 2 and we made it to the shield finals....just losing to Canada to deny the fans a treat that not many would ever have sahaud.
The Kenyans fans carried the day, even the ITV crew mentioned it on the day.
It was a very young team. Only Lucas Onyango, Allan Makaka were vets. We missed Oscar Osir and Benjamin Ayimba big time. However.. the new coach ROMBO simply did it for everybody.......he made sure the players mingled with people.......they shunned those official after parties and came to Afrique with Wananchi on the Sunday...
...They even patied untill 6 AM at the extension at Twilight Club.....celebrities in our midst.
If you missed it, I BET YOU ARE ALREADY LOOKING FORWARD FOR THE bASKETBALL COMING NEXT MONTH!!!!!!!!!

After all this time ( of me not goin ), i thot it had changed. Nway, managed to meet a few of u kensoc pple there. Was surprised how some knew exactly who i was . Nway, big up kensoc massives.
